As name indicates occuloplasty or occuloplastic eye surgery includes a wide variety of surgical procedures that deal with the orbit, eyelids, tear ducts and face.
Indication of Occuloplasty Surgeries:

Dry Eye Screening Test:
Done with applying schirmers strip in both eyes and measurement of the amount of tear production by the eyes.
It is a test which helps to find out which muscle is at fault in cases with muscle paralysis and double vision.
It is done in the patient complaining of double vision. It is tested by putting red , green goggles and looking at a beam of light in different directions.
Forced duction test :
It is done after putting anaesthetic drops in patient eyes. Using forces eye is moved in different directions to find out if movement of eye is restricted because muscle is paralysed or because it is stuck somewhere in patients with restricted movement s of eyes and double vision after trauma to the eye.
It is a special instrument used in patients with protruding or prominent eyes as in thyroid patients.
It tests the field of vision of patients eye using a machine which flashes light and patient has to click a button if he sees light.Ptosis Evaluations:
A series of tests done to find out the treatment modality in the patients with drooping eyelid.
